Default Oversized bolt knob- install & Recommendations

What do you guys recommended for an oversized bolt knob and how hard are they to install? Looks like a job for Bert or other gunsmiths. Just wanted your take.

This is going on a left handed savage action 110 ER Shaw is who i ordered it from.

I am also thinking about adding a cheek riser to help with the cheek weld, what your take on that as well.

Savage is a piece of cake. Just remove the BAS aka "big ass screw" at the rear of the bolt (this is the hardest part). Slide the handle off, put the new one on and re-tighten. I have the hex wrench for this if you want it.

There are some aftermarket bolthandles available as well as the factory handle for the 10/110BA that will work. This is a good upgrade for all Savages. It will help the heavy bolt-lift some too. Once the BAS is removed, there is also some tweaks that can help smooth out the action. Lift-kits are a cheap addition and some polishing will make a big difference.

PM me if you need more info.

Yup, Savage is usually within the skill set of the owner. If not, give me a holler.

Ducky you know the number bro. I have a new LH oversized bolt handle for a savage 10 and all that's holding it is a Allen screw so it's quick and easy like you like it
