    Default My new hunting buddy!!!

My new hunting buddy has finally arrived. Just wanted to share a pic of the newest member to the Larson elk camp. This is my 5 day old son Tanner. With all the negativity going on, I just wanted to share a little of my joy with you guys. Tanner is our second child and hopefully he isn't as crazy as his three year old sister.

Congratulations brother. You must be beaming with pride right now.

It might be year or two before he'll be dragging elk out of the woods with you, but he'll come around.

    Congratulations!

He looks very comfortable but I would be careful leaving him exposed too long to that Mooselimb.

Lots of years of joy ahead for Tanner and your family

Thats actually the antler of my Alaska moose that I took a few years ago. I made the antlers detachable for ease of moving the mount, and figured it would make a good picture. He was fussy and as soon as I laid him in the palm of the antler he calmed down, that's when I knew that he was my boy and that hunting was in his blood.

Congrats and as GK says, it goes by WWWAAAAYY to fast. Ours just started crawling and I don't think it will be long until he's walking.

Kids are the best. In my experience, boys are much crazier than girls, but it's a fun crazy. Lots of scabby knees on your future.
