I'm sure most of you don't know/care about Gawker, but I'm really breaking out the /popcorn today. It's just too darn hilarious.

Here's a short synopsis of what's going on today:
1. Ultra liberal site Gawker publishes an article claiming Condé Nast CFO David Geithner sought a gay escort.
2. Their ultra liberal readers complain about their "gay shaming."
3. Management takes down the article and apologizes.
4. Their staff publishes another article complaining about management taking down their article, saying that they unionized to prevent that sort of thing from happening.
5. Their readers give their staff the what-for and say "The time to consult your 'Journalism Ethics' manual was 24 hours ago, not this afternoon."

I think I'll need to go buy a movie theater popcorn popper to make enough while this is all going down!
