Think thats the one. Big thing they were trying to see how it did as a straight drop in barrel rather than also messing with some other bits. Forget what as I'm not a precision rifle guy so its all voodoo to me.

There's not alot of factory guns that couldn't benefit or see some improvement with a custom barrel, and I think it speaks volumes of the design that it can get 1/4 with just a barrel upgrade. Jury's still out on mine but I have faith.
I agree, I use my fore end for a bipod and sling mount. I'm not going to buy a $5k clip on NV imager for my $900 gun. Someone might but I'd expect them to have a slightly better rifle to put it on.
I think alot of people expected way more out of this gun than they should have.
Your probably right but it seems to be a great base to get someone into the sport of draining your bank account for the reason of hitting something small at a very long distance .
A storm is coming ...
I totally agree, it is a great starter, even into intermediate. There's just alot of complaints and I'm just surprised. I think it's an outstanding rifle and love the minimal trigger time I've had. I didn't mean to come off like that.
How True
Please........ Shooters would complain over the bolt handle angle, number of slots in the f/float tube, or even the thread protector. Having checked one out at my house. For the price point (IMO) it's a turn key operation. I haven't shot LD in probably 12-15 years. For me, being able to open the box and have a factory rifle i can put a scope & suppressor on, be shooting the same day. Is a great way to get back in to the game, without having to drop more $$$ for accessories this rifle comes stock with.
I'm waiting till the holidaze, when some one needs money and their RPR has been collecting dust not round count![]()

The rattling safety is my personal favorite. If it don't go click when I don't want it to, I can handle a little jiggling, been doin it for years!
I've seen a few pop up on other sites already, albeit for a ridiculous amount.. I'm keeping mine though, the wife is really convinced I got it for her!
Once I've established a little rapport with the site, the offer will stand if you want to test drive one at a range if you didn't get the chance before.
As stated before I'm not an AR guy but my understanding is that the hole is milled a little larger than normal and there's no spring. I have read that some guys have put other safeties in and that has helped. I did a couple drop tests when I got mine and it works as intended. It's actually harder than any other safety I have to actuate.
Interesting....
