Default The potential of strict scrutiny for gun rights

I did a search and did not find this one, though I can't guarantee it's never been discussed, I found it very interesting:

Particularly because it deals with the idea of applying strict scrutiny to 2nd Amendment rights.
This deals with the sixth circuit court and it's opinion in favor of strict scrutiny as applied to Tyler, who in this case benefits from strict scrutiny. I know the Bonidy case was just lost, and it set some unfortunate precedent for not using strict, but rather intermediate scrutiny.

Man, a strict scrutiny ruling in favor of the 2nd would be amazing. I was disappointed when the court dodged the issue on Heller.

If there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to buy a gun, there's nothing wrong with having to show an ID to vote.

For legal reasons, that's a joke.
