That is crazy. I've done business there quite a few times in the past. The owner was a very knowledgeable and honest businessman. I liked going in there because the old guy always liked to talk politics and shared many of the same views as him. R.I.P

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Police are searching for the suspect believed to have fatally shot two men inside of a coin shop Monday morning during a robbery, and have identified a ring as an item of interest in the crime.

Officers responded to the Coin Shop at around 9:30 a.m. after a customer reported a robbery in progress. When police entered the shop, they found 76-year-old George Manley and 67-year-old Dwight Brockman – both of Cheyenne – dead with apparent gunshot wounds.

Brockman was the owner of the shop.

A witness said a suspect – described as a Hispanic man between 5'6" and 5'8" wearing a dark-colored shirt – left in an unknown direction.
The westbound lanes of Lincolnway between Thomes Avenue and O'Neil Avenue closed during the investigation.

Police did not say what -- if anything -- was stolen from the shop. They did not specify why the ring -- pictured below -- was an item of interest.

What a terrible tragedy. I hope the killer is found and put to justice swiftly.

The 2 guys I know who've been coin collectors, one of which was my uncle Jack, have always been very gentle and caring people. I imagine these two, may they rest in peace, were no different. I just wish they would have been able to save their own lives or at least take their killer down with them... Anyone who deals in valuables should train with and carry a firearm, in my opinion... or at least hire someone who will if they don't feel comfortable doing so personally.

Dwight was always very kind towards me when I was in his shop and that is exactly right. If you're dealing in guns and or valuables you need to train consistently and carry all the time. Keep an eye on those gang member street thug POS types and refuse to be a victim.
