M&P9 internals question

I for the first time completely disassembled the frame of my full size m&p9. The gun does not have external safety levers and will fire with a mag removed.

If if I reach into the frame and push the trigger bar towards the right side of the gun, the end under the sear will pop out and if I release it, it will reset itself under the sear again. It seems like this could cause a FTFire issue. Is this normal for these guns?

o can now see why this thing sits in my safe. What a pain in the ass to take apart compared to glocks.

Yes. Normal. That's pretty much how the trigger resets after each shot.
