For those believers amongst us;

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in July. Prognosis looks good and it was stage 2b. She's also BRCA2 positive and cancer runs in her family.

Gman's wife had a double mastectomy on Wed. of last week. Surgery went great and she came home Thurs. afternoon. The doc put her on a blood thinner due to a DVT that occurred after a surgery years ago. Very early Fri. morning, the wife wakes me up because she's bleeding...a lot. She bled through her shirt and onto the sheets on both sides of her chest. When I look her over, the sutures on the left side have separated. I pack her up and whisk her away to the ER. Long story and a bloody mess short, she goes into surgery again Fri. Surgeon cleans out a large hematoma, puts in a fresh drain, and sews her back up. She's really looking pale after surgery, but isn't anemic enough to qualify for a blood transfusion.

Sat. she is looking better and has some color in her face again. She gets released from the hospital about 8:45pm. She wakes up at 2am Sun. thrashing around and in a panic. She's not sure if she had a bad dream or what, but her heart is pounding. So is mine. She takes some meds and feels a little better. She doesn't really improve on Sun. She feels like her oxygen level is low and her dad takes her to a local Urgent Care this morning. They can't really help her and tell her to go back to Sky Ridge ER. Turns out the wife needs a transfusion after all plus she has an elevated troponin level that indicates she might have some heart muscle damage due to the stress of the low oxygen levels.

She's in the hospital for her 3rd time until they can get her blood chemistry back to normal.

God tells us of the power of prayer and I've seen it work before. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks.
