    Default F*&%K I hate theives

Well, I just went into the garage and found that it was broken into last night at some point while I was sleeping, Theives stole my IR die grinder and Impact gun, My Lincoln 110 V wire feed welder, and my hunting frame pack that had 6 Steel Targets (AA targets style), brackets and straps in it. ie they carried off some HEAVY stuff, and didn't touch a few way more valuable and easy to carry things in the garage.

I had a friend doing landscaping in Greeley lose his job trailer and Rhino to thieves in the last couple weeks. Took it right off of the jobsite. There's been a rash of thefts going on here on the western slope. The bank caught the thieves cashing checks at their counter on video but the cops wont do anything because they cant make out a check in their hand. Video of the suspects at the counter the very time the checks were cashed and that isn't enough evidence. Just bs.

2 out of 3 aint bad.....

The alarm system, while a great system, doesn't do much when you're sleeping and don't hear the door chime, and don't have it armed because you are home

It's just a kick in the nuts to know someone was in my garage while I was sleeping, and worse what would have happened/what I'd have done had I woken up and caught them.

And the knowledge that you can't shoot somebody just because they're stealing your stuff... you have to be in fear for your life or the lives of others.

I don't want to see someone go to prison over one of these low-life scum...

when it is a home invasion, you only have to believe that they may use physical force, any physical force, then you are justified in using any and all means to stop the threat.

Is it just me, or has the level and volume of thievery gone up since the legalization of recreational Marijuana?

It must be just you. The consensus has ruled that alcohol and tobacco are far worse than marijuana. Stop repressing the 99% with your dead white male Christian attitudes!

I know the pain, they got me back in January, then a month and a half later tried to get in the truck in the middle of the night. It's a shitty feeling. It sucks but it could have always been worse. Just curious, how did they get it to the garage? After the break in at my house I started looking at other access points into the house and the cheap wood door jam from the back yard into the garage looked like it needed to be reinforced, and better locks and a bar installed.
