The gifts I appreciate the most are ones that were homemade.
It has little to do with the quality of the item (good or bad) and mostly to do with the fact that someone though enough of me to spend their time and make me something.
Some of the intangible 'gifts' I received were to spend time with me such as hiking Long's Peak, biking, going shooting, camping, etc. together.
I remember everyone of these.
But I can't remember the shirts and ties I've received over the years.
...but that is the way I am.
Just sayin'...
