I don't have any readily availible cool pics. This was my squad night of the 09' USMC Birthday Ball. I'm second from the right.

Scratch that. The following pictures are of guys I served with on my one and only tour to OEF 2011 with 1/5 Bravo Company in Sangin Afghanistan.

My VC, Sgt. Ramirez, came out to play with us in Sangin as a combat replacement from 2/5, and yes that's a hook.

Lcpl Richvalski of 1st Plt. In the green zone.

1st squad on patrol looking for Taliban.

Cpl Ramos on the MK 12, and Lcpl Sanders the best non 0331 Machine gunner you could ask for. 3rd Platoon "Brownhats"

Cpl Trevino after taking a 7.62x54r slug to the gut MEDVACING himself since the Effing guys on the bird wouldn't get out for fear of the IED's

    On the bird.

Doc "Big Show" Erfurth, a gentle giant. He'll of a guy.

Doc Kong after plugging up Lcpl Dawers who ate a round to the top of his ESAPI and still managed to enter his chest and fracture his sternum.

Lcpl Phillips at Lcpl Mendez-Hernandez memorial. We had way to many of those Damn things.

Lcpl Espinosa after a mass cas. Fuck $15/hr minimum wage for burger flippers.

Cpl Elliot at the memorial service for the 17 back at San Mateo.

Compared to what the men above pictured, and many more before us did, my service doesn't amount to a pile of dog turds. I wouldn't have served with any other Battalion. Best Marines I ever met.

I am humbled by my incomparably minimalistic sacrifice in the rear with the gear to what many of you have done. You guys are incredible.
