    Default Vise testing a Glock?

So I stumbled across this: https://instagram.com/p/47thEmoE5J/

Any ideas how one would "put the gun in" a vise for this kind of testing?

Guy hasn't shown anything about his fixture, and the results are remarkable.

Fun side thought experiment: What happens if you clamp the slide of a Glock in a vise, and fire? I have an answer in mind..

I think he clamped the frames dust cover in the vise. Clamping on the slide while pulling the trigger on a loaded auto loading pistol sounds like a great way to F'k your day up.

Getting a laser right on an equally sized dot at 50 yards sounds down right tedious.

Edit: I'd like to see this test done with a subcompact barrel for sure.

i've seen rimfire shooters hold the bolt closed for single shot suppressed . I have hard plastic jaws that i can use some motorcycle body armor inserts and secure it by the grip and frame. Not to hard.

I've held the slide closed on my .40, it's different to just hold the slide though.

I was also thinking that if the pistol has a light/accessory rail on its dust cover, he could attach a red dot QD base to it and then clamp the base into the vise. A half-assed Ransom Rest. My curiosity isn't great enough to warrant me trying to hold the slide closed on a .9mm-.45ACP.
