The most positive thing so far is that my wife, who is not technical, has not gone nuts. I am sure the sub-surface changes are substantial, but for the most part, it's close enough to the Windows 7 interface that the casual user will be just fine. I haven't plugged everything in yet, but so far all of the drives, printers, cameras, and graphics tablets I have seem to be working well enough. My desktop is nearly 10 years old and has several older programs and applications on it. All the ones I have clicked so far seem to launch and function fine.
Curiously enough, I have not received the upgrade for my Transformer tablet as of yet, which actually runs on 8.1. Will be curious to see how Win10 translates to the tablet.
