    Default SGL21 trigger problem

One side of the trigger spring in my Arsenal SGL has jumped the back of the trigger 5 times now. It wedges under the trigger and jams it back. Any thoughts? I've got a new spring on the way so I can see if it was the problem but it looks fine. Maybe the bends are too far to the rear allowing it to snap over the rear trigger bars. Maybe a Texas or Geissele AK trigger the future for this rifle. Frustrating.

The rear part of the leg needs to be bent back towards the hammer . This is how the l/ side is [ r ] over the trigger. The right needs to be bent to match the left. BUT....since it's a coil wound that may be a stop gap. Once the new spring arrives you'll see the difference.

After I pull the selector and dig out the spring, it looks the same as the other side. It's just jammed in that position in the photo. I did wonder if it's been deformed or damaged to the point where it bounces off the trigger when it cycles.

I've had this issue many times, culprit is a worn out hammer spring.
    APEX has them fairly cheap

The spring I ordered is a single wire spring rather than a braided spring. Does that matter? Weaker, stronger, more/less durable etc?

Normaly they are braided. Where did you get the spring from?
Try it if it works it works. But I allways use the standard springs, never used a single strand before,

Not sure who the mfg. Bought from Apex. Braided was out of stock except for used "pull offs". Didn't think much about it until after the fact. Cheap though. I can certainly keep looking. A few other places were out of stock on braided springs also. K-Var has them but they don't say if they're new or used. Waiting on response to that question from them.
