Was it a special car? If all of that needed to be replaced it really should not have been fixed. Most groups and clubs would not consider that an original car any more. Why not just find a better body.
I was wondering the same thing. Would it have been cheaper to buy a Year One body/frame? Last I checked, they were around $10k for a brand new one, with doors, and all in spec.
