Where did the rifle come from? What did you pay for it? Do the numbers match? If so, SCORE!
Yup, some don't care but the waffenamt stampings look good which is a huge plus to me. It has a cleaning rod and sight hood and sling, no idea if they're original but even so, that's another plus.
You may know all this but... An "X" on the receiver above the bolt indicates a capture rifle, as does a non-blued rifle, major mis-matched part numbers and as jreifsch80 mentioned, electropencil etchings.
Hopefully the bore is good. It may benefit from a real good cleaning.
