I agree that they are validating info, the problem is that there won't be a next time to try to prevent anything. The individuals who've been contacted are already compromised and stand little chance of preventing a truck bomb through the living room window in the middle of the night a few months from now. Thus whole thing is extremely concerning to me and comes with a strong feeling of helplessness. I don't even know anyone involved and feel worried sick over them and their families.

I can't think of anything I could do that wouldn't require quitting my job and abandoning my own family.
