There are some things that compromised individuals can do. It won't prevent a drone carrying explody things, but changing up one's routine, not posting their photos (or family members' pictures), don't put sensitive information on LinkedIn, setting up security cameras and establishing procedures with family members (if Sally is approached by strangers, she needs to go back inside the school and find her teacher. If husband is in trouble, make a reference to "Uncle Ernie.") Placing specific sized boulders/stones along the edge of your property looks decorative and is a deterrent for vehicles ending up in your living room.
