I have a M923a2 that either has a leak from the head gaskets on the compressor or maybe the valve is stuck inside? (that info is from another forum). I have the gaskets and Im sure every tool needed for the job. I would prefer to pay someone to help me fix it. The guys on steel soldiers say its an easy job, but I would still rather have someones help if I can get it.
This one has the 8.3l cummins engine. 1991 BMY Harsco M923a2 6,200 miles and 455 hours on it.
Anyone?
It needs to be done here, as the plates are expired and since it has air brakes and compressor issues, it really isnt going anywhere. The compressor builds pressure, but is leaking bad enough that it wont stay above 60 psi at an idle. It empties out the system after you shut it down, Im assuming within a few hours. This truck has CTIS if that matters.
