Other than getting Armorer certs through specific manufacturers I say take some machining classes and start getting some books and projects. I have no experience with the AIG stuff but I have always been skeptical of it. You really want to get started go to CST and work your ass off. With CST you get what you put into it and if you have questions pm me and I can put you into contact with a member here who is currently a student. You really want to go the distance head down to Trinidad and take that program.
