So now this piece of crap says he was just robbing the train so he could get some food.

Yeah, he needed 9 magazines to rob some Frenchmen.

Of course, one of the things we have to remember about countries like France (and other Euro countries) is that they have a large North African immigrant population and a lot of professional hand-wringers (just like us in that respect) so in public, they have to say a lot of mealy-mouthed crap about fairness and equality, etc.

But their security services are not amateurs so I'm guessing this guy is in for a rather unpleasant time, at least I hope so.
