Alaskan moose... Texans need to watch out, or they'll divide Alaska in two and Texas will then be the THIRD largest state..

There's nothing in the photo that can give you a real sense of scale. Who knows how tall those trees are or how wide that trail is.. could be a simple walking trail with a bunch of short new growth trees. I see no reason to say it's fake.

I've seen a fair number of moose in Alaska, Canada, and here in Colorado. If, that second shot is unretouched and the tracks on that road represent vehicle tire tracks, it has to qualify as a record of some type.

I tried to look up info on record moose but they base everything off the antlers so there wasn't any mention of size or weight. Seems the big ones have antlers over six feet wide. If the one in the picture has a six foot spread he looks to be pretty damn big

I kind of thought that at first. Especially the second picture. But the first picture looks pretty good to me so figured the second picture was just crappy because it was a cell phone or trail camera picture or something.

I've had so many of my own 'straight' pic's called photoshop-wonders that I won't stoop to doing that to someone else, -even if it's blatantly obvious...

Sun is at about 10 o'clock. Lighting on the antlers is the same as the trees. I don't see shading issues at all.


This picture on the other hand....
