I paid out the nose for a lawyer and lost. Lost so bad that I was assigned to pay her CC debt. She had put her lawyer on her CC!!! In the end I paid two lawyers to fight each other and still lost.

MY FEEDBACK!
I have nothing to offer but condolences... Sorry man.
When my first wife and I got divorced, it was fairly amicable. We went down to the courthouse and filed the papers together, then she went with me to the other side of the building while I applied for my Washington State concealed weapons permit. There were no bumps in the divorce process.

We don't have kids together, so I don't need a father advocate attorney.
I've been divorced in Colorado before, so I'm familiar with how it works here. Last time, she had a lawyer and I did not. I won't make that mistake again.
I'm just looking for an attorney I can trust. One that is not looking for me to finance their vacation home.
Thanks for the leads so far. I'll be contacting them in the morning.
99% of women do. Prepare for the battle. The Lawyer will talk her into going for everything.
Id recommend getting a male attorney to represent you. Women tend to not fight as hard for men.
I don't have any suggestions, but wanted to say good luck to you, and I'm sorry that she couldn't work with you to do things amicably.
