I have the standard fare, 2 Coleman Extremes and a Pelican 65 quart. I have taken several multi-day trips with the Pelican and the Extremes, and the Pelican, for me, was worth the money. I have been able to keep 3/4 full jugs of water frozen for several days in 90 degree plus heat in the Pelican, not so in the Extremes. The latches are very good as is the seal. I have borrowed some "more expensive" ones and I think the Pelican is about the best out there and it does cost less.
