I don't doubt that there will be a bit of hue and cry in the short term and anti-gun opportunists will dance on these people's graves ... but frankly if the dead children at Sandy Hook didn't get us gun control, this certainly won't.

Uh, they did. That tragic event was the main catalyst for Colorado's BS gun control laws, as well as many other states.

I HOPE you both are right but I still stand by my prediction. Sandy Hook had the added emotional response because it was innocent children. But this one was a live execution, in first person perspective for all to witness personally. This will create a strong anti push once again.

The problem with that is that it was also done by not only "one of their own" but also a member of #BlackLiesMatters and the gay-stapo.

The media will soon shut up about this because its more important not to harm their other pet causes.

I see your point. however, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the media's attention on this considering it was two of their own shot with an evil glock. This will give them more fuel to fire their anti-2A agenda.

I think everyone should watch and take a lesson from those people caught unaware. There isn't any blood shown b/c the cameraman went down very quickly and all you hear is sound...no video once the camera hits the deck.

First shot actually misses. Second shot hit her as she turned, third hit her in the shoulder just left of her spine. Then it was out of frame. I had to explain to a few "internet experts" that there isn't always a spray of gore, nor do you see blood immediately. I also had to point out that due to the fact it was a pistol round, there may not have been an exit wound, and definitely not anything captured by the cameras at the positions they were located.

I've seen video of two gsw's and have seen one 3 feet away from me. None of them were immediately bleeding, which is the lie Hollywood trains you to believe.

It seems news reporters learn to ignore their surroundings, there are tons of examples online of them being caught off guard.

Its hard for me to be too critical of the three people that were killed/injured. They were totally "in the moment", doing their jobs. This was a live TV interview, requiring the 3 involved to be 100% focused on what they were doing. I'm not at all surprised neither of them noticed the Glock originally. The murderer was a newsguy, and certainly understood his victims would be totally focused on what they were doing and he could walk right up.

It's just chilling to watch the murderer raise up the gun, point it at the reporter, wait a bit, then lower it until the camera is back on her. I can't imagine not noticing that.
