I would like To Publicly thank all the members here for all the help that has been offered, it's truly overwhelming to me. When I posted about needing a place I was hoping to find a lead on a place and that was all, well we have gotten offered so much more that words cannot express the gratitude I have for all of you and this community.

A good majority here know me personally here and know what my family has been going through for awhile (about 2 years now) but since January it's been even worse. My mother who lives with me and worked as a CNA full time had a spinal infarction with multiple spotting on her brain which indicated a series of "mini strokes" that left her without use of her legs. About 3 weeks ago we learned that my FIL has stage 4 throat cancer and has a very limited time left. I have even had to put down one of my pups 3 days before we found out about that, there's more but I can't make it sound even more like a bad country song than it already does.

Why I bring this up is because during that whole time I have not received one call, text or email from anyone in my family or long time friends to even see how things were going. But my friends and family here has been checking in with me constantly and that just is simply amazing to me.

My friends here have all always offered help and I have never taken it because simply my pride wouldn't let me. Well with this last issue I haven't had a choice it's no longer about me having to sell something to take care latest little thing that come up, this was about my family's well being. I have been disappointed with family and long time "friends" more times than I can count, but with all the support I have been offered here it just reminds me that family is not blood but the people you choose to have around you. I'am truly blessed to know all of you and to be a member here.

I'm truly honored to be amongst all of you and from the bottom of my heart I thank you all.
I will always be there any of you need me

For whatever reason I can't post in your thread in the Wanted section. Let me know what date/time you need help moving and I will be there if I can bail on work. Do you need boxes? Also if you haven't found a place I know a guy and a gal that has some rentals.

Dave, your words were spoken so well - they are very clearly from your heart.

For some folks, you can give and give and give and it's never enough. It's so rare to find someone who, despite their own needs, resists accepting from others yet will continue to give. You are one of those very rare folks. I don't think I've ever met someone who gives so freely to others.
