We went out to our land Saturday and all did well. Only a few below limit. The mosquitos were horrid though.

I have been showered with shot standing in the parking lot at Pueblo SWA talking to the game warden. Its a war zone there during opening day/weekend. Any public spots near a major city will be overrun with people during the busy times in the season. With dove, you will normally see a big drop after the first 2 weeks of the season.

I've found I get more nutrients eating the Mosquitos I shoot compared to the doves I shoot. Those bastards are relentless to me. I swear in the short time I was double checking my muzzleloader this afternoon I lost a pint of blood.

ID:	60872 it was bad this was my brothers neck after we had been there about an hour. Mine was worse and I didn't have long sleves so that sucked too.

I've never been dove hunting, would like to try it sometime.
Only eaten dove once, in elk camp a few years back. One evening one of the group was passing around a big tupperware full of dove breasts wrapped in bacon.
Best-Thing-Ever. After the first one I wanted to jump in with both hands, could have eaten them all myself.
