Ordered some Trijicon silencer height night sights for the G40. Plan on buying a Trijicon RMR for it at the end of the month. However, never one for patience, I realized I had a Burris Fastfire floating around. Glock mentions a lot of mini red dots, but does not mention the Fast Fire at all. Nonetheless, it looked like it would fit on the 1st mounting plate, so I went for it. Had to use the shorter screws that came with the plate pack to mount the Fast Fire, but otherwise, it went on without a hitch.

I assume someone will be offering a threaded barrel for this thing soon.

Lone Wolf has some interesting options, and I sent an email to SilencerCo to verify my Osprey .45 can take the pressure of a true 10mm loading. Obviously, I don't anticipate much sound suppression, but I do figure the added weight of the can will minimize any remaining muzzle flip and make it a lot smoother. I imagine the .45 version (G41) would make a much better silencer host.

Since silencers are now banned, I think I am just going to bolt a 5lb weight to a Larue mount and hang it off the frame rail.

Got my silencer height sights in:

Now just waiting for my threaded barrel and then I will send it off for a holster.
