Trump Releases Policy Paper on 2nd Amendment

Can anyone name a politician, who has actually kept his word after being elected?

I know that Budd Dwyer did the right thing once he let everyone down.

I'd be more excited with this policy paper if I thought it meant anything. He's a huckster and will say anything to get elected (even so he'd be better than Hitlery and I'll vote for him if he's the candidate) I just don't trust him to actually do any of these wonderful things once he's in office ... other than maybe become more protectionist with our trade policy (no, not a good thing) and at the very least he'll stand up for America when insulted (instead of doing the insulting).

Obama. He promised to "fundamentally transform" America ... he's doing a hell of a job as I barely recognize the old place.

I saw highlights of one his speeches last week about the 2nd. All I saw was someone that learned a new buzzword. "Guns, guns, guns". "Guns for everyone". I don't believe a word he is saying. He may not have an extensive political career like the other candidates but its clear he knows how the game is played.

Given his past statements favoring gun control only 7-8 years ago, Trump's canned 2A statement makes me believe he is pro-2A only for political appeal, and if in his wisdom he felt it was then needed to further restrict legal gun ownership for the purpose of making America great, he would do it. Trump is less about left and right as he is about firmly believing that if he wins the election, then he will be master of the situation. That gives me pause for concern about his true commitment to values over what is perceived to be what is needed to "win."

Do we know if his buildings are sill gun free zones? If they still are, that would tell us his true feelings on the matter...
