Guys who 'roll coal' are to diesel drivers as guys who don't pickup their trash at the public range are to shooters. It's a few ass hats that make everyone look bad. Some cities have made laws against 'rolling coal', if these guys keep it up, those same laws will be imposed here.

Seems like a waste of fuel to me; diesel is expensive.

I have a duramax and the only time it even puts out black smoke is under load and full throttle. Even then, its not enough to be "rolling coal". However, I dont really care about it. As stated above, just a waste of fuel and draws unnecessary attention to yourself.
I do notice that it seems to be Dodge's that do it more. They adjust the lift pump and voila, rolling coal. I also think Dodge drivers are the ricers of the diesel world. Tow mirrors out with no trailer...

Meh. Kids being dumb. Another consequence of living in a [relatively] free society. No new laws required IMHO.
That was one of the least informative articles i've ever read. Although all the hurt feelings in the comments were hilarious.
Redneck122, you need the 5 ton, then you could really roll some coal. (of course it would be 10 feet in the air)
