USPS cars/trucks don't have license plates? They are govt right? I can't think of any other vehicle that doesn't have plates.

USPS cars/trucks don't have license plates? They are govt right? I can't think of any other vehicle that doesn't have plates.

UPS trucks in Colorado generally have fleet plates. Some other states have dedicated UPS tags.

True, but UPS is a corporation whereas USPS is .fed. I thought even federal govt vehicles required license plates.Originally Posted by TFOGGER

Actually, I have not the slightest idea what laws govern plates on USPS vehicles. And I am at work so I don't have time to look.

probably the same reason the state fleet of cars doesn't have renewal tags either. (stickers) and they say GVT too. The GVT charging itself for plates..
I consider it saving us taxpayers money. Between them and Amtrak they haven't operated in the Black in how long?
