This is so funny it is unbelievable.
The only thing that they will probably end up doing is becoming offended themselves. When the articles, forum posts, and conversations start gravitating toward "10 things you can tell about a UT student carrying a large dildo" the originators will become offended that everyone is sexualizing their message and ignoring the main issue etc.
Just think what the internet is going to do with the pictures and the videos.
The school will probably be inundated with sexual harassment complaints from these morons.
The school will probably have to answer stupid questions like "Can I get the clap if I mistakenly touch another persons sex toy in class?" and "If I lost my sex toy will I be able to claim it at the lost and found?" "What should I do if I find an abandoned sex toy on campus?"
I fail to see why this has made so many people angry.

I don't think it has made anyone angry. The have a stereotype made up of gun owners and they believe that stereotype will be angry.
