Gang banger's kid shoots sibling with said banger's illegally-purchased gun while playing "cops and robbers." Oh the irony.

I'm surprised this didn't prompt them to call for Universal Background Checks(TM). It is definitely more balanced than usual, however the article still tries to make fun of the NRA, and still carries water for Everytown for Gun Safety without checking their assertions.

Curious as to whether the prosecutor considered investigating and charging the father and anyone else in the alleged illegal purchase of the firearm used in the homicide.

Laws do not prevent crime. They punish perpetrators after they commit their crime.

    All actions have consequences.

    Be safe.

It actually had numbers showing how few young kids are actually dying and even the claim of Everytown of "Grossly wrong stats, it's like 100 not 63...." Woo big diff. Stuff like that not pro gun by any means but at lease gave a decent accounting of both sides opinions, and I especially like that the opening part talking about accident rates down but someone dying in the news and everyone loses their minds...
