Default Any airgunners here? Why no CO field target?

The airgun bug has bit pretty hard, started with a nice "springer" and somehow a PCP rifle/accys has found its way home...more probably just behind.

I would imagine those local to the Olympic training center have this stuff under their noses, but I can't seem to find much in the way of "support" for filling air tanks somewhere around Demver, or even rumours of the seemingly popular elsewhere Field Target competitions sprouting up in CO?

Any insights? leads? I know of at least three people on here that are heavily into target airguns.... and from what I know, the regional biathlon stuff has airguns in the mix?

I know the Arvada Rifle And Pistol Club has 2 air rifle ranges. I am a member but have never shot air rifle there.

I recently purchased a PCP rifle and am using a high pressure SCUBA tank for fills. There is a place a little east of me that will fill SCBA tanks that I found after buying my SCUBA tank. Their was at least one place to fill SCBA tanks in Denver that I knew of but they have since closed. The other person I know that has a PCP rifle is looking at using a nitrogen setup since the Denver shop closed. I have also thought about just getting a compressor of my own.

Pcp shooter here as well !!!!! Hatsan at44-10 in 22cal. Messed with springers for years and pretty much gave up on them. LOVE the hatsan and shoot about 400 pellets a week in my yard and in the house when it's cold and craply out. Fill it with a scuba tank. Cheap fills.
We should have a get together

I'd be interested in learning more about the PCP stuff.

I've been a pump and spring air shooter since a kid. I Love shooting them but have lost my backyard range to a few new houses.

I can only shoot some in the basement now, which isn't much fun.
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

Field target is friggin hard. For sure a rifleman's game. Back east it is somewhat popular.

I shoot an Anschutz 9003, but mainly in my basement. Sometimes I take the scope off and shoot irons at the Olympic Training Center.

Sweet, more coming out of the closet!
Buying a compressor seems exactly like buying a walk-in safe, it will be a gateway.

Thanks for the reminder for ARPCINC, I'll have to check them out -being open 24/7 works well with my calendar.
Would love to see a FT get together of sorts. After shooting a modified Steyr LG100, my fate was sealed.

Ok, I know I'm reviving a long dead thread but why start over.

Just getting my PCP up and running (.25 Airforce Condor) after sitting in the safe for 2 years since buying. Who else shoots air rifles?

There are some pretty amazing ones out there now. Just saw this one.

Just for some historical context, the Lewis and Clark Expedition took along an air rifle.

I took an Air Rifle class my Freshman year in college, and the range was under the concrete bleachers of the football stadium. After having to do push-ups all morning, it wasn't a whole lot of fun. It was definitely challenging with such a tiny target.

Other than that, I don't have much to offer.

Just added a Hatsan Bullboss 22 to my pcp collection. And a big carbon fiber air tank for filling my rifles. Scuba shop by my house in Westminster fills my tank to 4500 psi. Really nice to use this rather than lug around the heavy and bulky scuba tank.
Really digging the bullpup style this new rifle has.
