Default Bad way to go out.

I'm a moderator on a bike forum. Probably 10,000 plus members and you get to know guys pretty well. I'm thankful that I only knew this guy vaguely.

Shy of having a pair of dykes handy, I think this would be game over. I don't even think many could get it off with a knive. Especially if while still being attacked.

Ill ll up date this as more is learned.

Treat others as you'd like to be treated, stay away from illegal activities and those that participate in them. From my experience there are very few victims of random random homicide.

I'd be happy to debate your statement. However out of respect for parties involved and that wonderful thing called GOOGLE / SEARCH ENGINE. I'll pass.

There would be precious little reason to carry concealed if you believe this. As an old Boy Scout, I like to be prepared for the random bad events.

speculation here.... After leaving Charlie's house he was just going to simply ride around and snap some pics. If you look at the crime scene pic, maybe he strapped away from the bike to get the bike in a framed shot, as we often do. Possibly even leaving his helmet on and ear buds in. Not condition yellow by no stretch, but possible. Someone not even previously seen could get the drop on someone like that.

The he bike was found at least a 1/4 from his body. Speculation is the killer made it that far before wrecking it and fleeing.

Him and and I share many of the same friends, IMO, he would never have been mixed up in anything illegal. My friends vouch the same.
