They have been trying for about ten years now to pass ammo backround checks. With that said I see it getting passed with in the next five years. Its just a matter of time with CA the demorats never stop with there bullshit.
Don't be stupid!!!!!
Holy shit man.... They are trying to push law abiding citizens into becoming criminals, or become targets. Then a new wave of people going into jail will push the ones out that are real criminals because there's no room! The scumbags aren't going to stop. They'll just make someone go buy it for them, or break into someone's home they think has guns, and kill whoever is inside to find out if they can score some free ammo, and if they don't find any, oh well. I know it's been said a million times but laws only apply to those willing to obey them, and those that get caught not obeying them...
There can't be that many fools in CA can there? When they pass the law to turn in all their guns, what will the ones that don't start thinking? And when weed was illegal, did that stop these hippies from smoking, growing or selling it? Fncking morons... The police can't be everywhere. Why would you want to give up your ability (and right to defend yourself from someone who thinks anything is rightfully theirs if they can take it, up to and including human life) and ask someone else to be completely responsible for your safety.

No, the ones that really want it won't understand the consequences because they largely won't be directly affected by them. But they will wonder why their efforts are not having the desired effect on the statistics, so of course, that means that they did not try hard enough and only more of the same effort will achieve the goal.
