    Default Need a PC guy

    I have a virus/adware crap I can't get rid of. Mostly a stupid "arcadecake" pops up. Have cash. 9mm, .45, or 5.56 FMJ/Green tips. P.S. it's a laptop I can easily drop it off.

Seems pretty easy to remove compared to many others. Have you tried the steps here?: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-arcadecake-ads/

Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

Try this one, free and has worked pretty good when needed. Spy bot search and destroy. I use it to clean my teenagers laptop after he downloads all his stuff. Not the best out there but a free try. I haven't seen that ware yet so post a fix when you get it if you would.

Start backing up your data and get ready for a format if that's an option. It's the only way to really get rid of a virus.

time lost fighting most viruses is gained by just backing up and starting fresh. ^^
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

Use this tool, it will remove bad and good, so be careful. Let me know if you need steps on how to use it ( if you become stuck ) or check youtube.

    http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/TDSSKiller

Also, some spywayre\adware\etc likes to self replicate and can detect that they are being scanned, so they hide from the scanners.

Make sure you unplug your internet cable after you download the tool and run the scans.

    This will kill it good.

Worse case scenario, backup your porn and re-image your pc.

colorider has the right idea. ComboFix for the win. Kaspersky like lc_nab said would be the next best bet.

System Restore works too but usually if you get any kind of virus it kills System Restore points.
