A little good news... I got engaged!

Sorry I haven't been to active on here... work has me pretty busy, and then personal life is crazy busy (even more so now). So amidst all the bad news circling around lately, some good to report:
I just got engaged the other day! We mark our 2 year anniversary in December, and intend to get hitched sometime next year in the warmer months. We're still undecided on the date and looking at venues now. We might do the Barn up at the Meadows in Evergreen (Marshdale) but haven't decided on the location yet. We like the idea of an outdoor ceremony and the reception close by, but looking around a lot of places are pretty pricy (we're more than likely paying for it ourselves). So yeah, there's the new news to share!

With family and friends, we would have to do it here, somewhere relatively close as my grandmother is in her late 80's. Besides, we have a lot of her family coming from FL, no sense in everyone having to make a trek...

Ha, that's what everyone said to us too. We had the wedding in Vegas and almost everyone still showed up anyway.
