    Default YellowJactet Wasp exterminator

I'm looking for an exterminator or someone to get rid of a yellow jacket nest in my chimney. I'm close to Evens Avenue and Santé Fe Drive in Denver. I'm not looking for a long time maintenance contract, I'm just looking to get rid of these guys.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Long shot wasp spray will knock them dead. It take a few cans. Dress in heavy clothing & bug netting over your face.

Or just light a roaring fire in the fireplace, that'll get em too.

Don't listen to all this bad advice.

Just bait some raccoons to live in there instead!

Sorta older home. It's not a fireplace chimney. The hot water heater and furnace go into the side of it in the basement. If I cycle them on it just warms them up to comfortable.
Is there a smoke bomb or something I can set off in the bottom to chase them out? I checked at a couple hardware stores and all they had were bombs that are flammable which I don't really want to use in the situation I have. The same goes with sprays. I'm also not that nuts about personally climbing around on my roof guessing at what I'm doing and hoping it works. That's why I'm willing to hire it out to someone that knows what they are doing.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Man they are bad this year. I still have a nest in the ground that I can't kill off. 3 cans of wasp killer spray so far. I'm about to resort to kerosene or something.

Wow... soapy water kills them. No need for chemicals. They breath through the skin, so when you cover them with soapy bubbles they drown. I use liquid hand soap and water in a spray bottle.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
