OR cheap spray lube. You need to wait until the temp goes below 50 ~ they get slower / slugish . We zap them with some cheap wd-40 as the sun goes down, if not 1st thing in the morning.

just rid myself of a nest in the house last weekend. HUGE! F*CK (crawlspace under back porch/house access)

I sucked them up with the shop VAC for hours one weekend. Just left the hose close to the nest hole and it caught 99% of them coming and going.

Spray the nest down with WD40/Windex and other similar products = cheap. Suck them up with a big shop vac. Scared as heck, but I got rid of them finally.

Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

Thanks for all the information and help. I got up there this morning when it was about 40 degrees to look down the chimney. There were about a dozen cruising up and down the warm air but none coming close to the top opening. I couldn't see any nest or crowd around what would be an entrance to a nest.

I was able to contact a pest service later and they will be out Monday to treat the area with stuff that will kill them. I acts slow enough it should be transported back to the nest and take care of that too. They have a guarantee it will work or they redo it.

So thanks again for the responses.
