    Last time I went... A guy in camo gear was shooting up the hill behind us. So bullets were flying 20 ft above us! We left.

    I wouldn't mind going up there to dig lead out of the hillside as there is a lot of it up there. To melt for casting.

    Yup! I have given up on visiting any free Public Shooting areas. These seems to have some sort of magnetic field that attracts the worst type of morons that the shooting community has to offer.

    I for one will miss the area. It was so close for me I could run up, fire off a few rounds or make a quick adjustment on something. The trick was to get there early, do my thing and pack out before all the crazies showed up at noon.
