Default Most ridiculous thing I wish I had a picture of

I was driving on 470 today and saw a vehicle that I wish I had seen in a parking lot.

Ram 2500, 18 maybe 19 inch rims, low profile tires, blue with white pin striping, a coexist (hippy version) sticker and a Marine Corps sticker, and the finishing touch a California license plate

I really wasn't sure what to make of it. It also made me sorta glad my dad had passed in 2000, because if this is what is becoming of the Corps I don't think he would want to still be alive.

Yeah.... That is definitely a CA cultural thing: Lifted or large trucks with low-profile tires. Not sure about the coexist sticker though.

This reminds me though, I did see an awesome (weird) set of stickers yesterday that I wish I had a picture of: It was a sticker in the middle of the back window on an SUV that said "House divided" (usually a sports reference) and then a little sticker that said "Her house" with an arrow to the left, pointing at a hippy coexist sticker. To the right was a sticker that said "His house" with an arrow to the right, pointing at the coexist sticker we know and love with the gun company logos in it. The whole right side of the bumper then had hunting and gun-related stickers (realtree, browning logo, several AK stickers, an NRA sticker and more) and the left side of the bumper just had a single tie-dye colored peace sign on it. Best part: when I passed this SUV, the driver was a very elderly-looking Hispanic woman, driving by herself.

NOW it makes sense. Don't know why I didn't suspect that first.

Downtown Salida, a very large Mercedes SUV and bumper stickers that read Bernie for Pres and No Fracking. I'm assuming owners are trust funders that have no concept of anything.

Saw a 2wd Dodge pickup the other day. 24 or 26 inch wheels, lifted with rubber band tires and a spare (same wheel) mounted in the bed like a Baja truck. Which, quite honestly, is probably the best option given the shifty roads around here. Hopefully someone in the vehicle knows how to change a tire.

Maybe early 90's, when real Hummers were first starting to be sold, I saw a bad-ass one in upstate New York with a bumper sticker that read "Hug a Tree".
