Thanks for the greeting. I'm a huge believer in if you try and stifle any mans speech we harm everyone's right to free speech. So I welcome any type of comments regarding this topic, however, bashing the training course due to Piazza making some bad choices is kind of like bashing a person shopping at Chinamart because they want the most for their money. And you're really not supporting Frontsight you would be supporting Joe Banister's Freedom above Fortune radio show.

There has to be a reason why Frontsight trains more people year after year than all the other training schools in the country combined.

I understand the airline flight is expensive but I figured if two to three people get together to make the 70 to 15 drive once you get to Pahrump things won't be to expensive, nevertheless, I understand it's not that easy.

This is my only one time opportunity to sponsor a class like this so if it happens to fit in a person's schedule and budget I don't think you can get this type of training for the nominal donation that is being requested for a real good cause. Frontsight has changed mine and my wifes lives for the better. I'm not saying you have to support Frontsight and become a member but why not come out for next to nothing and experience it for yourself.

McDonald's sells a lot of hamburgers. Doesn't make their food worth a crap. There are plenty of tier one shooters out there that teach, and that come here.

I agree completely with your logic. If it's crap don't digest it, but the training at Frontsight is not crap. It's very good especially if one has never attended this type of training course. Will any of your tier one shooters instruct for 4 days for $25 per day all day?

I've heard from a friend of mine who went out to Frontsight that they are awesome (and expensive). My $0.02.

I went to an Appleseed and it was great. Not tacticool but great marksmanship.

    How would this compare?

I've been wanting to go to Appleseed glad to hear it has good marksmanship teaching. Frontsight's training is very structured and thorough. Day one you spend on fundamentals and you progress quickly from there. Days 3 & 4 you're doing a lot of shooting, scenarios, head shots, hostage shots, long distance, and more.

Here is Frontsights FAQ's link: http://www.frontsight.com/FirearmTra...ront-sight.asp

cshortreed's friend is correct it is Awesome and expensive so it's best if you can bring your own ammo.

Appleseed was well worth it. Cost me $75 for over 18 hours in 2 days. I did burn lots of ammo, 500 plus rounds in the 2 days.

Many brought 22lr for part or all but I wanted to learn to hit a target with my primary rifle so I just played with the AR.

Just a quick update on the class. I drove out and took the class this last weekend. It was an excellent course as all the Front Sight courses are (my 3rd class). I met Neven (he sponsored the class) and Joe Banister (the guy who does the radio show). Both are GREAT GUYS! We had a great time and shared 4 solid days on the range training hard. Neven missed Distinguised Graduate by one round with his Romanian AK! That guy can shoot and he is a real patriot for setting this class up.

Regardless of what you read on the internet about Front Sight, I have trained out there for years and they are top notch. You don't return from a class as a blathering scientologist zombie. You do come back nicely tuned up and having some good range time.

One really cool deal I saw with my own eyes:
    • Our primary instructor is a 3 combat tour Marine Sniper/Instructor. He made a 325 yard shot on a steel target with his Glock .40 S&W! That was impressive until he backed it up with...
    • A 1000 yard shot on a steel target with the same Glock!
    • Impressive!
So, my point is, don't miss an opportunity when it presents itself!

    Keep Shooting Guys!
