This whole thing was all about the teachers, not about the kids. They started this recall after the board was in place for 1 year. Look at the money that was spent, millions. I am pissed

This is just the incentive these unions needed, now they know with enough money they can buy stupidity.

Mediocre Jeffco teachers no longer have step up their game or fear getting kicked to the curb.

So Glad this was all about the children.

The flip side is Bloombergs $$$ failed to win him and the anti-gun D's seats in the VA congressional race. Which will be overlooked by the recall here. AGENDA, AGENDA, AGENDA.

This is why people need to get involved in local politics. The leftists or rather communists (because that is what they are) had these three board members out done from the get go. There wasn't nearly as much opposition to it as there were communist minions out working to make it happen.

It is just nuts how people complain when these things occur, but they themselves did nothing, ZERO to counter the communists. If you want to make s--- happen you have to get off your ass and go get involved in politics. Those f----rs are very well funded and very well organized.

This is the first local election I have gotten involved in. And it was one of the most egregious as far as media bias goes.

From day one, literally every local news station ran a story on each hour of evening news showing and listing by address where people could go sign the recall petition. All while they reported the pro recall complaints as fact. With that help, they had enough signatures in a matter of days and had set the popular opinion in stone.

Some teachers lied to the students using school time to organize student protests and walkouts, the details of which were leaked to the media to ensure cameras would be there to cover it.

Witt was on the radio daily doing interviews. Literally daily, explaining the truth. Colorado Government Watch filed a lawsuit against the pro recall groups very obviously breaking campaign law but the courts made sure to delay any hearing until after the election. Both efforts were unheard by the population at large.

Hell, my No Recall sign was stolen and I personally know of a half dozen others who had theirs stolen too.

    We got beat big-time.

I'm kind of ashamed of Jeffco. I grew up there, got my education there, and before moving was proud to have cast a vote for the now recalled board members. WTF? How was it even allowed to go with almost every point of it being lies? The unions were called grassroots by 9 news, while they said the board members were supported by big money. 9 News, the unions, and the pro-recall parents are full of shit.

And with the rest of the election, Denver sales tax increase for communist college ideas, keeping the excess pot tax (which will now be forever), Doug Co going to the dems, Colorado will soon become a very uncomfortable place to live.

This just reinforces my already low opinion about most people, they are fucking stupid and deserve nothing but the worst.

People want the government/union to decide wages, they don't want to earn their way through life and have their wage determined based on individual merit. The reason they don't want their income determined by their own abilities is because they don't have any abilities and they don't want to work to improve themselves. Sloth and stupidity are the main drivers of the $15 per hour mandatory minimum wage.

One of the big reasons for the loss is that the incumbent board members were not able to work together on a united, cohesive team the same way the pro recall candidates did. The incumbents were already being falsely accused of violating open meeting laws so they were actively avoiding being together outside of board meetings. They purposefully made sure they were never at the same social, political or any other events in order to make sure there wasn't any ammunition for further accusations. They played by the rules against liars and cheats.

And if there was any wonder where the big money was, here's the front page today. Pro recall teachers and parents celebrating their win at an expensive, rented hotel ballroom last night. Think the teachers paid for that with their own money?
