    Default Kydex holster

I'm looking to get a new holster for my VP9. I'm wanting an OWB kydex holster and have narrowed it down to these three. Any insite or suggestions would be appreciated. I also looked at the safari land holster but it didn't seem to fit very close to the body.

Comptac flatline - $79 ( comes with three clips as well as retention adjustment )

Bravo Concealment BCA - $69 (simple well made and great reviews)

SOCO kydex MR - $65 (simple , made local in Colorado . Looks like no cant though)

#1 looks nice, outside that H&K logo. The other 2 look like every other kydex out there. You consider leather?

WARNING:SHAMELESS PLUG. I as others here did, went with work by HBarleatherneck. IMO money well spent.

For kydex, I'd go with Colorado holster.

Personally, I don't like that style. I'm not a big guy and those wide holsters don't work well for me.

I like Blade-Tech for my OWB holsters.

I'm a slim guy so want something I can conceal as well. Any reviews of the safariland Model 579 GLS™ Pro-Fit™ Holster

I got this off Amazon for half the price and I like it with some exceptions.

It is actually curved, so it fits on your body very well. I never understood how anyone could carry concealed with an OWB holster until I bought this one, in fact. I don't like how the clips are closed and you have to thread your belt through. The combination of thick, stiff gun belts, and the curve of the holster makes this a pain in the bum. However, I just realized they make a "speed clip" that seems to alleviate this issue. I'm going to try them out.

I know it's not a name brand, and not local, but for the money I'm 100% satisfied.

Irv, you should let me see that holster sometime soon. I've been thinking about grabbing one in that style & running it while at home, as well as for the range.

For a mass produced holster I would go with alien gear, for a custom look at the other posts on this thread.
    S&W M&P-15T, XD40 Tac.,& XD40 Subcompact, Springfield 1911 RO and Mil spec, 870 turkey, Benelli SBEII, Rem 750.
