    I'll second this. If you DON'T need your slide machined, replacement sights are DIY. If not, take it to BP.

    Yep. Unless the OP has a nice sight pusher I wouldn't risk drifting a set of tritiums in with a hammer and punch.

    Bert does my night sights for me unless I pick them up from Bowers then I just have them install them while I'm there.

    And the price for a decent sight pusher can equal or exceed the price of a set of night sights. Not to mention the file set needed to fine tune the fit of the sights.

    Hell, a friend of mine bought a sight pusher for his and we still can't get the old sight out. That SOB is in there good. One of these days he'll stop being lazy and have it addressed by a pro.
