NP3 Plus Coating

So I'm in the process of researching and lining out a build and I've come across Robar's NP3 Plus coating. I was thinking of having my upper and lower sent in once I get them to have them coated, and then just buying a Sharps Rifle Co. NP3 Plus BCG with the relia-bolt.

I believe the hype about NP3 Plus after doing some research on it.

Has anyone had their parts coated post build? I'm wondering if the added thickness of the coat will affect tolerances and operation. Also, is it possible to Cerakote the outside over it?
