Long story short, these social justice "warriors" didn't even have the guts to tell me to my face that they found what I said offensive. They had to run and find an adult to complain to because God forbid someone in a college environment says something they don't like.

That's like rule # 2 or 3 in their special snowflake playbook.
As with anything else that OFFENDS THEM. It's always someone else (The Government, authority figure) they want to do Their dirty work. Not actually face one they disagree with OH NO.
That would mean they would have to Man, or Woman up. Explain why They were Offended, made to feel uncomfortable etc. Never happen as long as there's an authority figure to hold their hand.

AS i've said before (blatantly copied from someone else)

The Government should Remove ALL WARNING LABELS and Let Nature Decide.

Can you imagine? Just think of all the gluten-free wackos trying to grow their own crops or trade for goods. Better yet, just imagine them trying to fight off animals or men in a state of nature. Hilarious.

I don't have much to add, I agree with most of what's been posted, other than this...

Consider that these special snowflakes (not all of them millennials btw) are entering the workforce and these ideas are starting to take root. CYA all the time. I've seen careers with long LOS ruined by a special snowflake going to HR or using certain language with management.

ETA: Just saw this tweet by Katherine Timpf that sums it up nicely...

"Hello, boss? My coworker doesn't seem to understand that my emotional state is his responsibility fire him this is my safe space."
Imagine you're the coworker with a wife/kids to support. In that position there is nothing that you can do to redeem yourself because it isn't about work. It's about making the special person the arbiter.

When business have high[er] turn over rates, it still will not sink in. It's a good thing i'm retired, doubt i'd get past the prelim interview.

So Great-Kazoo, how do you feel about safe places in the workplace?

I believe they are a necessary part of any business. Without them, where would one keep their long gun while at work, in the car??
Hell it's bad enough i had to switch to a S.O.B rig for my pistol. That damn IWB was riding up on me like an ex girlfriend in heat. SO ........................You folks provide health benefits after 30 days, correct ?

I'm sure that this is going to get a few of your britches in a bunch, but if someone comes along and offers to forgive my student load debt then I am taking it. Student loans are CRIPPLING my financial situation, and I didn't want them in the first place.

But "society" or whatever you want to call it said I have to get a degree if I want to go anywhere in life...so I went and got one. And I didn't go to some out of state liberal arts college, I started at community college and got some credits since it was cheaper and went on to get my Bachelors in Business Management from Metro State and I STILL have $45k in loans personally (and then add on another $20k from my wife). I did what I was told I HAD to do to get ahead and I'm getting screwed you know where because of it. I've said it here before, but I regret going to college every day. It's not worth starting with such a deficit when you are young and trying to start your life with a wife/kids/house. Student loans are downright predatory, plain and simple.

With all of that said, if someone comes along to offer me student loan forgiveness, I won't let them finish their sentence before accepting it. I could care less where the money comes from, I'm taking it and running. Because if student loans were gone from my life, I could actually start making my money work for me. And then I could work a job for $35k-$40k and it wouldn't be an impossibility to live on.

Oooooo....fun! Let's play the "Forgive my _________ debt!" game. Can we forgive people's credit card debt too? I'm sure that's crippling for people and they were told that you need credit cards for credit! What about car loans? Those put a big dent in my expendable income and everyone said I had to have a car for a job and to get places.

What about all the people that have paid their school loans off? Do they get a refund check now? School was a choice, no matter who told you what. Same as every debt that someone has. They willingly signed/agreed to whatever that debt is.

I agree that's the problem. We shouldn't tell everybody they need to go to college. That's complete BS.

I would find it darn near impossible if someone came to you and said "I will forgive your ______ debt" that you wouldn't take it. You'd be stupid not to. I agree that college is a choice, but you don't grow up with your parents/grandparents/teachers/coaches/pastors/boy scout leaders/old lady on the street saying "Now make sure you grow up and get credit cards so you can have good credit!". College is a whole different animal as far as debts go.

    Exactly.

The management team that caters to special snowflakes doesn't stick around long enough to be held accountability. They are either Peter Principle'd up or move on.

One of the places I saw with this problem had it's share value cut in half (still sinking as I type). They lost their innovators/workers and are scraping by on 1990's infrastructure. This is a technology company and have become a joke in their vertical--you only do business with them if you are contractually obligated. I could go into details but it was all self-inflicted through Libtard PC culture.

And the best part... The special snowflakes are in the process of being laid off because they are offshoring as much of operations as they can. Oops.

Kind of like a parasite killing itself if/when it kills the host. Same thing with Liberals.
