Mobile table advice
I've got a stand from a 90g aquarium that was built quite stocky/heavy. I outfitted the top with a layer of plywood then a 75% covered in a 2 inch solid core door remnant. As it sits, very sturdy/heavy. Idea was to make it mobile since despite the size of my house, I dont have the best place for it and I dont want to be in the cold dark unfinished storage room. Idea is I can roll it out wherever on the main floor to load, then roll it into the corner of my office when not using it.
Dillema is, originally going to go get some loose wheels from harbor freight. Something locking with a wheel that wont mess up my wood floors. I've become concerned even locked with just 4 wheels for friction this would take away my stability. So I could pin them in such a way that they are removable. Or I figured it's cheaper also, why not just get 2 of the little square 4 wheeled moving dolly things they have for $8. Lift up each end of the stand onto dollies to move, then remove them when loading.
