Starbucks in Centennial robbed

CENTENNIAL - A Starbucks at East Arapahoe Road and South Parker Road was robbed.According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department, two black men wearing black hoodies, black pants, surgical masks and latex-type gloves robbed the Starbucks.
They were both armed with semi-automatic handguns.
"This was a very aggressive robbery," Julie Brooks with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department said. "They did seem experienced. They did flee the area ... initially on foot."
There were three people inside Starbucks at the time of the robbery.
"Obviously, [they are] very shaken up given the style this robbery was," Brooks said.
They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and 2 Half Caf Mocha Lattes, extra hot. Starbucks reopened to customers just before 8 a.m.

Having a sandwich and iced coffee there right now lol. Not many options to exit the lot. I'd guess a car nearby and then initially west bound on Arapahoe. Similar to a few recent armed robs of 7-11 stores in Denver. These guys aren't getting a lot of cash. Today they dropped a bunch of coins in the parking lot as they ran out.

Must be a fake report. This obviously couldn't happen after Denver implemented strict gun control and magazine bans.

I wonder if the robbers had less style that the patrons would not have been so shaken. Or, maybe you need style to rob a Starbucks.

There were only 3 people in the shop at the time, they got away with roughly $1200, a hell of a lot more than the 7-11 hits. These guys know a little bit about gun handling, trigger fingers indexed along the side of the frames. They come in fast, surprise the employees, get the cash and get out.
